I wasn’t born with a green thumb, but I was born with a passion for everything that comes from the earth – fauna and flora. When we bought our property fifteen years ago, I thought we’d use it mostly for growing vegetables, raising animals, and letting our kids run around like the wild things they are. As we grew into our land, I discovered the sheer joy that growing something just for the beauty of it can bring - and I wanted to share that with everyone around me!

 

We are committed to growing as naturally as possible, which means never using toxic chemicals on any of our crops – so yes, sometimes we have to work extra hard to keep things weed- and pest-free. But with three kids running around the property – one of whom can’t seem to keep from coming inside covered in whatever’s supposed to be on the ground – we think it’s worth it!
